GRAND PLACEMENT & GENERAL SERVICES CORPORATION (GPGSC) was established in the year 1983 by its enterprising Chief Executive Officer and President and Managing Director, sisters Ms. Judy S. Yang and Ms. Lina S. Sy. As degree holders of Bachelor of Science in Commerce – Major in Accountancy, they are fully aware of the typical Filipino’s needs for a more decent paying job. Keeping in mind their mission to provide more employment opportunities, they are constantly on the lookout for ways and means to further materialize their goal of sourcing more jobs for the Filipino workers. The industrialization of countries overseas brought about the increasing demand for highly skilled and technical workers. By creating a vehicle to deploy Filipino workers, the sisters believed this to be the best opportunity to channel the Filipino workers’ capabilities and talents to different parts of the world.
